Certificate Program in Corrections: Pre-Service Certification
Prepares students for entry into the state of Connecticut's Department of Correction as a Correctional Trainee. Program graduates receive a waiver for the written Correction Department examination that is administered by the state Department of Administrative Services. Upon certification, the Department of Correction will require applicants to pass a series of screening tests in order to be employed.
